Kuwagata KEISAI Bird on a Blossoming Branch Berman Museum This piece of Ukiyo-e by Kuwagato KEISAI has a different angle then other Ukiyo-e, for me i think when I saw this one, it's from author's point of view looking up the bird(or author might want people who saw this feel that way). I assume people who view this also feels like they are under the tree, or under the branch. The view of the bird on the branch actually made this Ukiyo-e more three-dimensional, less flat, but when I saw those cherry blossom flower I feel flat again(science they don't have color). The blueness in this Ukiyo-e was also well match together, like the background the Color Grading from deep blue(ocean blue) to light blue(sky blue)*view this one up and down. Also, the branches and leaves are the same color like the top deep blue color. When I doing the research for this Ukiyo-e, I also find two other similar piece of this one.
