ENSO

The Enso exhibit is an artistic reflection of the Zen Buddhist motif, a motif that represents emptiness, unity and infinity to Buddhism. Which is represented throughout Murakami’s vibrant pieces through a single fluid brush stroke.

Murakami also applies a spray paint signature to scream over the signature flower and skulls prints. Paying a touching tribute to Japanese tradition, ‘Enso’ reflects the change in direction Takashi’s career took after the devastating 2011 Japanese earthquake.
